We have the original price list, order form and correspondence from Northfield Audi including a letter confirming that Northfield Audi will cover the cost of the Metallic Paint. The letter dated 12th May also includes an updated order form with a new on the road price of 30,320. Audi must have increased the price of the car between the order date and the car being built. These cars back in 2000 were extremely desirable, and often selling over list price on the used market due to huge demand, so the original owner would have had no choice but to accept.
