A used BMW M3 car for sale @ Dorset Motor Company in South West,

We are really excited to offer this late BMW M3 Evolution for sale. This is an exceptionally rare car, particularly as it is totally standard and with a manual gearbox! Yes, it has high mileage, but these were motorway miles. It has a very tight chassis, punchy engine and the interior is rattle free. This is an M3 Evolution that managed to escape the track day warrior!, On arrival R32LPH went for a detailed inspection at Burch Motor Works, the renowned BMW specialist. The engine, cooling system, chassis and suspension and jacking points were all reported to be in good health. It was also reported that the car is in completely standard form including all the rubber bushes. It was decided that to protect the car for the future that it would have an underside strip down, clean. paint and rust proof while at the same time refreshing worn parts as listed below., For this work to be carried out we took it Simeon at Project Shop in Bicester. (***). Simeon knows classic BMWs well and quickly got to work with the report produced by Jon at Burch along with the underside refresh as follows:, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL, - Remove front and rear suspension, strip, clean and paint as required, - Replace front inner ball joints (lower arm), - Replace front outer ball joints (lower arm), - Replace front lower arm bushes, - Replace track rod assemblies (inner and outer), - Replace front and rear brake hoses (x6), - Replace gearbox mounts (x2), - Drop rear axle down, clean and detail as required and replace diff cradle bushes, - Strip out leaking power steering pipes, clean up all spilt fluid and replace with new. - Drain and refill power steering fluid (Dextron III), - Drain, refill and bleed brakes through, - Check coolant, engine oil, washer fluid and top up as required, - Check gear box and diff oil and top up as required, - Strip out exhaust heatshields, repair as required and refit after underside detail, - Replace front shock absorber top bushes (perished)
