This wheelchair access vehicle is a 2014 (64 registration) Ford Tourneo Custom 300 Trend with the 2.2 diesel engine and 6 speed manual gearbox. It is a wheelchair vehicle that we have sold previously and is a three owner vehicle. It has covered 88,500 miles from new (approx 8,850 miles per year) and is finished in black with after-market chrome trim to complete the look. The Ford has been converted for wheelchair access use by Vic Young Conversions. They have installed an Braun wheelchair lift. There are wheelchair securing straps with include front and rear manual belts and a 3-point safety seatbelt as standard. We have five seats in total (three front and two rear) and the wheelchair position is alongside the rear seats, so is more inclusive. Other specifications to this vehicle includes five doors - which also include an up and over tailgate - providing some shelter in the rain. It has tinted glass to the rear. We have front and rear parking sensors which help with vehicle manoeuvring (and parking). There are electric front windows as well as electric mirrors.
