Finished to a Jaguar factory option of Opalescent Silver Grey with Dark blue leather trim and blue mohair soft top. The early Series 1 roadsters (1961-64) are the most iconic and sought after of the E’Types and particularly the RHD cars which were produced in much smaller numbers than LHD (935 RH vs 1865 LH). This original manual shift car built in March 1962 was sold to an Austrailian owner and stayed in Perth for the early part of its life until brought back to the UK. Now DVLA registered as 959 UYT it has just completed a total bare metal, full restoration with many upgrades added to make the car a joy to drive while maintaining it‘s originality. The Jaguar Heritage Certificate confirms the Chassis Number of 850423 with body number R3329. It also confirms the car originally supplied in Carmen Eed with Red Leather interior and Black Mohair Soft Top.
