Built on VWs MQB AO platform, its siblings include the Seat Arona and VW T-Cross, its bigger brothers include the Skoda Karoq, VW Tiguan & Seat Ateca. The KAMIQ combines the agility and handling of a compact car with the traditional advantages of an SUV higher seating position, better visibility, easier to get in and out, and higher ground clearance. Offering new assistance systems, and numerous Simply Clever features that popularised the brand just as much as the generous space available. Its high level of active and passive safety earned it the maximum rating of FIVE STARS in its Euro NCAP test, courtesy of its very rigid body, up to nine airbags and wide range of advanced assistance systems. Where fitted, the TOP LED Matrix headlights enable drivers to leave the full beam on permanently, without dazzling other road users. Oncoming vehicles are detected by a camera and automatically excluded from the light cone. The Kamiq features efficient, modern VW TSI engines from the evo2 generation, with power outputs ranging from 70 kW (95 PS) to 110 kW (150 PS).
