We recently took this fantastic looking Volvo V40 in part exchange against a Volvo XC60 as the customer was upgrading to a bigger car. We have extensively road tested the vehicle over 30 miles prior to offering for sale and it drove very well! The car started first time from cold, the 187 BHP engine sounded healthy and it had plenty of power in all gears. The eight-speed automatic gearbox changed up/down nicely with no clunks or hesitation. The car sat at 70mph on the dual carriageway with no troubles and handled the back roads superbly too! The black leather/suede interior is in tidy condition with no rips in the seats, the cabin smells clean and all electrics worked as they should when tested including the heated front seats, parking sensors, dab radio and climate control with cold air conditioning. The Volvo would make a perfect family car or motorway mile muncher as it's affordable to run, costing just £20 per year to tax and it returns brilliant mpg of over 67 miles combined.
